Autumn is now officially upon
We took Sasha to the park in Ghent on this brisk 82 degree November day to see the leaves change.
To demonstrate the seasonal change, I sprinkled her with a shower of leaves.
To further illustrate the autumnal magic, I removed all other color from the world except for the fallen leaves.
Sasha enjoyed the seasonal lesson but also just liked playing in the leaves and dirt.
Soon the mere leaves lost their ability to entertain and Sasha sought out new amusements.
Like this bench. Weeeeeeeeeee!
Then she noticed the slide, and it was all down-slide from there!
"Hey Daddy! I have an idea. Tomorrow let's go for a bike ride at beach!"
"That would be fun, and I'm not listening to any other suggestions, so make it happen."
We biked down to the new statue that we saw
last month at the Neptune
Then, for the first time ever, we went all the way to the end of the boardwalk.
After we rode all the way from one end of
the boardwalk to the other, we stopped to play in the sand.
Uh Sasha, I think the traditional way to make "sand angels" is to lay on your back!
Like sands through a happy baby's fists, these are the Days of Our Lives.
It's November 6th and I'm running around the beach in shorts, sandals and a
November Fun at the Beach!
Sasha: BMD (Baby of Mass
Destruction) makes her way down
the shore devastating other kids sand castles.
In the distance she spots her next target.
Luckily, this little sand village was spared her Godzilla-Like wrath when she got distracted by the surf.
Sasha loves the ocean! I had to keep stopping her from running out into the waves with her clothes on.
As punishment for obstructing her fun, she made me eat sand.
Sasha and her Dad: We play hard and we sleep hard!
